Mike has degrees in accounting from Spencerian College of Business and Concordia College, certifications from Christian Ministries Association, American Bankers Association, American Institute of Banking, OSHA and Moody Bible Institute. 

Mike has served in church volunteer capacities since high school and is the founding Elder of WLC.

Mike is married to his wife Lorie and together have two married sons and three grandchildren.  Mike is self-employed, and serves as Elder Chair, allowing him to use his gifts, education and experiences of a lifetime to serve Jesus and be part of advancing His Kingdom.

Mike was saved through the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship, while being led to the Lord by his mother who prayed with him at around age 4.  Mike was raised in a Christian home and attended the Baptist church in the neighborhood. He rededicated his life to the Lord in high school and continually committed to serving Him.

Mike’s hope and prayer is that Westosha Lakes Church will continue to be a loving community of believers, committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, submitting to the authority of Scripture, and striving to make disciples of every generation. Our love for Jesus is best demonstrated by bringing His Kingdom to our world one life at a time.
