The early years of adulthood are some of the most crucial years for spiritual development in a person's life. Young adults in this age group tend to experience a new sense of independence in their lives that gives them the opportunity to establish a faith of their own. However, without a community of Christians their age to support them, it can be difficult to grow as a Christ- follower in a world that is constantly changing.
Our aim with Westosha Young Adults (WYA) is to bring young adults (11th grade-mid twenties) into a community where they can experience Christ-centered relationships and grow in their faith alongside other Christians their age. The ministry will consist of bible studies, outreach, and other community events, so this age group has more opportunities to build relationships in the church during their breaks! We are building the WYA schedule around college schedules, so most of our events and Bible studies will be in December/January and the summer.
We have 4 upcoming Bible studies during this winter break! The dates and locations are as follows:
- Monday 12/30, 7pm at Westosha Lakes Church
- Tuesday 1/7,7pm at Melka's house (38604 87th Street Burlington, WI 53105)
- Tuesday 1/14, 7pm at Melka's house
- Tuesday 1/21, 7pm at Melka's house
